About Responsive

The Foundation’s Responsive program provides grants to nonprofit organizations for community-driven initiatives that improve access to justice for people in Ontario. Responsive grants support projects/programs delivering new or existing legal services, legal education, and legal research.

Apply through new Grant Portal

The 2026 Responsive Call for Applications is now open. Applications must be submitted through our new Grant Portal by 5 p.m. EST on September 10, 2026. To avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage you to register for and become familiar with the portal as soon as possible, and well before the application’s due date.
