Funding Opportunity for Early-Career HIV Researchers: CANFAR Research Cycle 34 Now Open

CANFAR's Research Cycle 34 is now open for applications until Monday, August 31, 2026, at 20:00 EST.

 

These research grants support early-career investigators as they launch bold, high-impact ideas across all areas of HIV research — prevention, treatment, care, and cure. This cycle will award: 6 grants of $40,000, and one Christopher Bunting Memorial Grant of $50,000.

 

With a 33% application success rate, these catalytic grants are designed to help early-career researchers generate the preliminary data needed to pursue larger national and international funding opportunities.
