How to Apply:
Health research training is a core priority for CIHR that is guided by the vision of cultivating scientific, professional, and organizational leaders both within and beyond the health research enterprise. Building on strong progress to date, the CIHR Institute Summer Programs offer a strategic platform for Institutes and Initiatives to advance their mandates by supporting collaborative learning, capacity building, and knowledge exchange.
The purpose of this funding opportunity is to identify a host for each of the three 2027 CIHR Summer Institute Programs:
- The CIHR-IA Summer Program in Aging
- The CIHR-IGH Summer Institute in Sex and Gender+ Science
- The CIHR-IPPH Summer Institute on Public Health Systems
The specific objective of this funding opportunity is to:
- Provide funding to develop and implement an intensive capacity-building program for forty trainees in targeted strategic areas.
