Franklin Research Grants (USA), American Philosophical Society

The Franklin program is designed to help meet the costs of faculty travel to libraries and archives for research purposes; the purchase of microfilm, photocopies, or equivalent research materials; the costs associated with fieldwork; or laboratory research expenses.  for non-US applicants, the work must be conducted in the USA, with the maximum award amount of USD 6,500.  Deadlines: 01 Oct 2025 for work beginning Feb 2026-January 2027; and 01 Dec 2025 for work beginning April 2026 through January 2027.
