Overall Objectives for this Opportunity
• Advance the understanding of the experiences of different population groups (i.e. Women, 2SLGBTQI+, Indigenous, Black and racialized Veterans, Veterans with disabilities) of Canadian Veterans as it relates to chronic pain, including accessing health services.
• Identify and analyze chronic pain diagnostic and treatment pathways for Canadian Veterans, with consideration as to how these may vary across populations (i.e. women, 2SLGBTQI+, Indigenous, Black and racialized Veterans, Veterans with disabilities), how these compare to best practices, and how these compare to civilians with chronic pain.
• Evaluate clinical, system, and/or policy interventions to improve access to chronic pain care and management for diverse Canadian Veterans living with chronic pain.
