Seniors Community Grant Program

How to Apply: 

eniors Community Grants, ranging from $1,000 up to $25,000, help community organizations’ ability to provide opportunities for greater social inclusion, volunteerism and community engagement for older adults, from the safety of their homes or other safe environments.

The Seniors Community Grant Program funds local not-for-profit community groups and organizations to deliver projects, supports and resources that help older adults (aged 55+) to:

  • live independently
  • live with safety and security
  • stay connected to their community
  • avoid isolation
  • achieve greater financial security and social connections

Programming can be delivered remotely, virtually, or in-person.

As an organization can only submit one grant application to this competition, interested applicants are asked to contact the Office of Research (ahacquo1@lakehaedu.ca) by March 4 to indicate their interest in applying to this opportunity.
