Prize : CIHR Gold Leaf Prize for Impact
CIHR's Gold Leaf Prize for Impact is one of the highest honours that can be accorded to an individual or team by CIHR for health research in the Canadian context with a proven impact on health outcomes, practices or policies and/or on the health system.
Funds Available
CIHR's financial contributions for this initiative are subject to availability of funds. Should CIHR funding levels not be available or are decreased due to unforeseen circumstances, CIHR reserves the right to reduce, defer or suspend financial contributions to funds received as a result of this prize.
- The total amount available for this prize is $100,000, enough to fund one prize for one year.
- The prize consists of a medal and a grant.
Objectives
This prize bestows honour on distinguished researchers in recognition of the impact of their contributions to transforming and mobilizing health research for the benefit of Canadians.
