About the Speaker 
Dr. Effah Antwi, Research Scientist, The Canadian Forest Service - Natural Resources Canada; External Adjunct Professor at Lakehead University. Dr. Antwi is a lead scientist from the Government of Canada who recently led 17 federal Science-Based Departments and agencies in developing Inclusive Science Guidelines and organized the National Inclusive Science Dialogue, which featured more 40 Deputy Ministers, Assistant Deputy Ministers, Vice Presidents, Director Generals, and other senior managers from the Government of Canada. His multidisciplinary research spans Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America, focusing on inclusive science (IS), climate change adaptation, and cumulative effects assessment (CEA) in Canadian forests and Indigenous communities. As Lead Scientist on NRCan’s IS Research Study, Effah integrates Indigenous knowledge and IDEA principles in science.
