Lakehead University researchers Dr. Elaine Wiersma, Department of Health Sciences, and Dr. Mary Lou Kelley, School of Social Work, were featured in a short film about research in developing a culture of palliative care in long-term care homes, where the majority of residents have dementia, and self-management of dementia.
