An interdisciplinary investigation of research and theory in gerontology with emphasis on the aging process from biological, psychological and sociological perspectives.

Health Sciences 5713 SDE: Public Health Ethics – 0.33 FCE
A critical exploration of the ethical nature of public health, as well as ethical principles arising from the unique elements of public health. The course content will examine various issues including social justice, diversity, public or common good, the good of the individual versus the collective, and everyday ethics in practice.
This course will be included as a Special Topics elective for the following specializations: Indigenous and Northern Health; and Social-Ecological Systems, Sustainability, and Health.

Qualifications Preferred:
Master’s Degree in a health-related discipline; preference will be given to doctoral-prepared candidates. Teaching experience at the post-secondary level and online delivery are required. Experience with experiential learning is highly desired.
