Here's another amazing opportunity to showcase your creativity. Diya's or Indian traditional oil lamps hold huge significance during Diwali as they are a symbol of light dispelling darkness and sorrow and ushering in prosperity. As per Hindu religious texts, They were used by the people of Ayodhya to welcome the return of Lord Rama from exile. The Diyas are normally made with earthen clay and then decorated with colourful designs. Diya patterns made with colourful craft paper are also used as decorations during Diwali.
  • In this competition, you will be making Diya Lamp patterns using craft paper and submitting it to us by October 31st.
