Our on-campus food providers are ready to bring their passion and expertise to all of our clients, whether eating on the way to class, sharing dinner with friends or planning a coffee break for your team meeting.

At all times, our focus is to provide a safe and efficient method of meal delivery, even during unexpected service disruptions, whether that be dine-in or takeout. During times of quarantine, a delivery model will be implemented for affected students.

Our on-site & licensed caterer, Lakehead Dining Services, is the University’s catering and food services provider. We specialize in meetings, conferences and events from breakfasts to wedding receptions. Large or small, let us know your budget & vision, and we can provide a custom menu for your event. We can provide you with flexible dining options from catered meals to all-you-care-to-eat dining hall entries so your guests are energized and ready to tackle the day.

Discuss your catering needs with your Coordinator; they can even arrange a meeting with our Catering Manager. With your vision & our expertise, we can make your food as memorable as your programming.

Orillia Campus Catering and Dining Services

On site breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee breaks, boxed lunches, buffets, catered meals and more, our campus food services partner, Dana Hospitality, will be happy to provide your food and beverage needs.

Meal Plans

Two styles of Residence meal plans are available catering to different eating habits & preferences including a 5-day plan, a 7-day plan, and flex plans for staff, faculty and all students. For more information you can see the options here.

On-Campus Dining

Campus Dining Hall: Open to students, staff, faculty and visitors. A variety of options are available. Dine-in and enjoy delicious, fresh, “made from scratch” cuisine for a boost of energy in an inviting and sunlit space. Hours of operation vary.

Simcoe Hall Kiosk: Offering a daily menu of take-out ‘bistro’ style sandwiches, light meals, salads, and beverages. Grab your coffee on the way to class or work, or enjoy a quick bite in the Learning Commons while studying. Open Monday - Friday, during the months of September through April.

Public House: Delicious pub-style fare including poutine, burgers, mozzarella sticks and much more! Certain to satisfy your craving! Open Tuesdays, during the months of September through April.

Vending Services: Conveniently Located in Simcoe Hall and Residence, this is a great alternative for ‘on the go’ snacks.
