	9.1	MOVED that Senate approves the amendments to the Joint Senate Committee to NOSM Terms of Reference.

	10.1	MOVED that the deadline date for referrals to Senate standing committees for Calendar Changes for inclusion in the 2015-2016 Calendar is January 19, 2015.

11.	LUSU Recommendations for the Student Representatives on Senate Standing Committees for 2014-2015 (Mr. Matt Quick)

		MOVED that the LUSU recommendations for Student Representatives on Senate Standing Committees for 2014-2015 be approved. Senate Library Committee – Joel Kennedy

12.	Appointment to the Senate Nominations Committee – recommendation from the Senate Executive Committee

		MOVED that Dr. Ruizhong Wei be appointed to the Senate Nominations Committee for the term commencing immediately through June 30, 2015.

13.	Senate Nominations Committee Report (Dr. Cheryl Lousley)

	13.1	MOVED that the following faculty members be appointed to Senate Standing Committees to fill the current vacancies with the indicated terms: Senate Organization Committee – Dr. Pallavi Das for a term commencing immediately through June 30, 2016 Senate Research Committee (CIHR eligible) – Dr. Karen McQueen for a term commencing January 1, 2015 to June 30, 2015

	13.2	MOVED that the Senate Nominations Committee Report be accepted.

14.		Senate Research Committee Report (Dr. Maria Grazia Viola)

	14.1	MOVED that Senate approves the renewal of the Centre of Education & Research on Positive Youth Development (CERPYD) for an additional three years based on the Internal Review Panel recommendation.

	14.2	MOVED that the revisions to the Terms of Reference for the Senate Research Committee be referred to the Senate Organization Committee.

	14.3	MOVED that the Senate Research Committee Report be accepted.

15.	Approval of Adjunct Professors

	Note – This year the deadline date for the approval of any retroactive Adjunct Professor appointments will be January 19, 2015.

	15.1	MOVED that the following Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies be approved: Dr. Jane Lawrence-Dewar, be appointed as an External Adjunct Professor to the Department of Biology for the term September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2018.

17.	Adjunct Professor Renewals (Information Only) Note – This year the deadline date for the approval of any retroactive Adjunct Professor appointments will be January 19, 2015.

		Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies Dr. Gabriel Dakubo’s appointment as an External Adjunct Professor to the Department of Anthropology has been renewed for the term September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2018. Dr. Don Johnson’s appointment as an External Adjunct Professor to the Department of Anthropology has been renewed for the term September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2018.^{K.R. October 20, 2014} Dr. Patrick Julig’s appointment as an External Adjunct Professor to the Department of Anthropology has been renewed for the term September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2018. Dr. Helle Moller’s appointment as an Internal Adjunct Professor to the Department of Anthropology has been renewed for the term September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2018.^{K.R.
