Lisa Hodgetts is Associate Professor of Archaeology at Western University and Past-President of the Canadian Archaeological Association (CAA).

Drawing on recent CAA efforts and her own community-based research in Inuvialuit Nunangat (the Inuvialuit Settlement Region) she explores recent efforts to address archaeology’s colonial history and make the discipline more inclusive. Many of the questions and challenges being faced by archaeologists apply across multiple fields of study, as do many strategies for effecting change. The ZOOM registration link is here.

With all the hype around ChatGPT these days, the Academic Integrity-TEA group will be diving into the topic of chatbots and A.I. writing tools, and more specifically, how folks are handling this new technology in the classroom.

Academic Integri-TEA is a small, informal community of practice designed to help facilitate conversations and positively influence the academic integrity culture at Lakehead University.
