Our winter workshops provide unique opportunities to connect with nature in specific ways over the winter months. We begin the day in the classroom, with an interactive lecture, learning specifics that we will then explore when we head out to explore and apply our newfound knowledge in the afternoon.

Third Age Learning Lakehead (TALL) will kick off the new year with the series, Religion in the 21st Century? Each of our special guests will help us understand the contemporary issues facing religions today – from exploring Christianity to understanding religious diversity, to an open and honest dialogue about radicalization.

Every weekday from 4:00 pm till 5:00 pm we a program focused on health, wellness and personal development called The Big Up, which is hosted by Lateefah Olatunde and Katie Fraser.

Every weekday we have different student advisors online to answer your questions and to provide support and encouragement. This is a casual drop-in session where you can ask questions or just come and chat!
