Getting Started: 

The following are the instructions on how to install the RealPresence Desktop client onto your computer.

Windows

  1. Install Software from Polycom
  2. Check off “I have read the RPD EULA and accept the terms and conditions of updated RPD EULA“ click “Submit” and Accept Agreement
  3. Save and Install program.
  4. Run Program.

MAC

  1. Install software from Polycom
  2. Check off “I have read the RPD EULA and accept the terms and conditions of updated RPD EULA“ click “Submit” and Accept Agreement
  3. Save and Install program.
  4. Run Program.

Setup

  1. Once the program has been installed, run the program and select "Enterprise Sign-In". Enter your Lakehead University email address when requested for an email.
  2. Your login credentials are as follows:
    1. User Name: ad\Your Lakehead Username
    2. Password: Your Lakehead email address password
  3. Once all these steps have been completed, please call us at ext. 8886 or email us at multimed@lakeheadu.ca to arrange for a test run to make sure the program works correctly.
