About the Event
This workshop will include the following sessions:
1. Moss introduction (lifecycle, diversity, ecological importance, biomonitoring) by Dr. Victoria TeBrugge and Dr. Nanda Kanavillil.
2. Moss identification - Adam Storey (Talk outlining the basics of Moss identification with the help of microscopes)
3. Moss macrofossil identification and importance - Dr. Florin Pendea (Talk outlining the basics of moss identification and importance), and
4. Moss undergrad research by students.
