NSERC - Discovery Grant NOI Q&A Sessions

NSERC offers a series of pre-recorded videos and live Q&A sessions designed to assist the research community in completing an application using the Research Portal and the NSERC Canadian Common CV (CCV). Below is a link to the pre-recorded NOI videos as well as the schedule for the upcoming live Discovery Grants (NOI) Q&A sessions.

Preparation for Live Q&A Sessions

We ask that participants view the pre-recorded videos prior to attending a live Q&A session, as the material presented in the videos will not be repeated.

In addition, we invite participants to familiarize themselves with the following documents:

• Memo to potential applicants - Notification of intent to apply for a Discovery Grant (2027 competition)
• Discovery Grants (individual) program description and instructions for completing an NOI
• How to complete NSERC’s version of the Canadian Common CV

Participation in Live Q&A Sessions

Participants may submit questions in advance (during the week prior to each session) and during the session itself using the Slido link provided for each event.

Please note the following:

• Advance registration is required to attend the sessions (via MS Teams)
• Sessions will open 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time
• Due to anticipated high attendance, NSERC staff may not be able to address all questions during the sessions. Any additional inquiries may be directed to the NSERC Discovery support team by email at resgrant@nserc-crsng.gc.ca.
