This interactive seminar is designed to help participants better understand the 2026 Canadian UArctic Project Funding opportunities while creating space to connect with peers and explore potential collaborations. The session will begin with a brief overview of the available funding streams, application processes, timelines, and practical tips for developing strong proposals. Participants will also hear short presentations from a few past funding recipients, who will share insights from their project experiences.

 

Finally, we will hold facilitated breakout rooms where participants can discuss project ideas with other participants, build partnerships, and begin shaping application ideas for submission to the 2026 Canadian UArctic Project Funding programs. Groups may have the opportunity to present their project idea for feedback during the session.

 

This networking seminar is ideal for researchers, faculty, staff, and partners interested in collaborative Arctic and Northern research and education initiatives.
