Lakehead University Bora Laskin Faculty of Law: Take that, reviewer 2 - A writing group

An invitation to a series of writing workshops for faculty, hosted at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in the PACI Building. The inaugural workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 25 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, subsequent dates to be determined by attendees.
Price of Admission: a recently (in the last 12 months) rejected or “revise and resubmit” paper.
Goal:  To provide collaborative support for faculty in getting their work through to successful peer review.
Format:  To be determined by group. Initial meeting of 2 hours: 30 minutes discussion, 90 minutes dedicated writing time followed by a social (snacks, coffee, tea).
Topics:  Tips and tricks for reading and responding to peer review; is it one paper, three papers, a book?; identifying best suite publishing venues.
Methods:  Sharing resources, techniques, and information. Invited speakers from various faculties depending on group interests.
