This workshop will focus on agreements for researchers, students and those interested in entrepreneurial activities. Types of agreements include: Inventor Sharing, Intellectual Property, Confidentiality, Service Agreements, Industry Sponsored Research, Data Sharing, Material Transfer, and more.

Ellen MacKay is the Director of Innovation Development at Lakehead University and has worked in technology transfer for 8 years. As a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP), Ellen works with faculty and students to identify, evaluate, and protect intellectual property developed at the University, as well as manages all commercialization and licensing activity. In addition, Ellen oversees the on-campus business incubator, Ingenuity, as well as all entrepreneurial activities on both the Thunder Bay and Orillia campuses. IPED is pleased to partner with local economic development, innovation, and entrepreneurship organizations, to support economic outreach within Thunder Bay, Simcoe Country and regions.
