Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Biology. Applications are requested to teach:
BIOL 2011 SDE - Human Musculoskeletal Anatomy
Anatomical systems/topics covered are the integumentary, muscular, and skeletal systems as well as arthrology. Laboratory work includes the study of the cat as a representative animal.
BIOL 2012 SDE - Human Internal Anatomy
Anatomical systems covered are nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, reproductive, urinary and endocrine. Laboratory work includes the study of the cat as a representative animal.
BIOL 2035 ADE - Human Physiology Survey
An overview of select human physiological systems without laboratory exercises suitable for students who seek a limited introduction to this topic.
BIOL 4610 ADE - Intro to Pharmacology
Will include sections on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, routes of admin etc along with selected nervous system and cardiovascular system drugs.

Qualifications Preferred: Ph.D. preferred and experience in teaching
Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of course delivery is highly desired.
