Master of Natural Resources Management (MNRM)
Looking to boost your employability and fast-track your career in sustainability? Lakehead University offers a course-based Master of Natural Resources Management (MNRM) designed for future leaders in Canada’s growing resource sector. It equips professionals and recent graduates with advanced skills in forest management, policy, geomatics, and ecology - ideal for careers in government, industry, and conservation organizations. Students may choose one of two options:
- 16-month program at Thunder Bay campus, graduating with a Lakehead's master degree.
- 24-month program with 12 months at the Thunder Bay campus and 12 months at a partner university in Europe, graduating with two master's degrees across the fields of forestry and environmental management. This option is the exclusive International Dual Degree's Transatlantic Forestry Master (TRANSFOR-M) Program.
