Having an opportunity to spend a school year at Rennes School of Business in France through the dual degree program was one of the most meaningful experiences of my academic journey. The learning style was super engaging, professors were accessible, and many courses were hands-on. One of the many things that stood out to me was a project in our Digital Marketing Strategy course that involved finding small local businesses in Rennes with no digital presence and building them a fully functional website. That project was really fun and stimulating to do!

Singapore was a mix of wonderful experiences and learning opportunities. From the moment I landed in the city, my expectations soared regarding its sustainability practices and the deep connection to nature that society embraces. Coming all the way from my hometown in Mexico and my university in Canada, the lifestyle and culture felt so different—yet incredibly exciting.

Having the opportunity to study abroad in South Korea was a crazy, life-changing experience. Outside of campus, English was rarely used but it was actually easy to travel around the city. Upon arrival, you get assigned to a Korean Buddy who shows you around and is your go-to person which was very helpful when going to a completely different country. I will never forget all the unique things I got to experience during my exchange in South Korea!

I can surely say without a doubt that my exchange experience at  Nord University was far from ordinary. I met so many wonderful people who I am still in contact with today. My favourite part of my exchange was living in a different country while being able to open up and expand my horizons. Nord University staff picked me up from the airport and brought me right to my accommodations, showed me around campus and made me feel comfortable. I never had any issues with the language barrier, as everyone spoke English!

Getting accepted to Charles Sturt University was nothing shy from a life-changing experience. I had the amazing opportunity to explore a new chapter of my life, and continue studying social work from an international perspective. Upon arriving, staff from CSU were immediately welcoming.  There were events where I was able to network and meet new friends such as quiz nights, glow parties and water fights. The Residence was very easy to apply for, and very clean! Studying abroad has opened my eyes to new and exciting adventures and has made me more confident to travel alone.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The city of Oslo is a beautiful place to live, with stunning natural landscapes and a vibrant cultural scene. The educational system in Norway is also top-notch, and I was impressed by the level of support and resources available to students. Through my exchange experience in Norway, I gained a global perspective. I also had the chance to explore the city and its surroundings, including taking hikes in the beautiful forests and visiting the fjords.
