Lakehead University sends approximately 50-80 Outbound Global ME students abroad each year all over the world! 

As a Lakehead Thunderwolf, you have the exciting opportunity to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime international experience in a different part of the world, and transfer your credits back to your Lakehead degree.

The Lakehead Global ME (Mobility Engagement) Program provides guidance and support to students wanting to study abroad. Do any of the following describe you?

• Do you want to spend your semester in a tropical destination or near a beach?
• Have you ever thought of studying in the Arctic Circle or see the midnight sun?
• Are you interested in learning a new language? 
• Do you want to explore other cultures and a new educational system?
• Maybe you want to increase your employability by gaining international experiences?
