Undergraduate History Programs

The Department of History offers a number of undergraduate program options for students at the Thunder Bay Campus, Orillia Campus, and Online. 

At the Thunder Bay Campus, students can take a standard 3-year Bachelor of Arts (History Major) and 4-year Honours Bachelor of Arts (History Major). A number of combined programs can also be taken with English, French, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, and Women's Studies. A joint BA (History) and HBOR with the School of Outdoor Recreation is also offered. The department is active in history programming for Concurrent Education Programs through which students can obtain a BA or HBA in History while working towards their program Education degree. Students in all programs at Lakehead can complete a minor in history. 

At our Orillia Campus, the Department of History offers a 3-year Bachelor of Arts (History Major) and the Bachelor of Arts (History Major) Concurrent with a Bachelor of Education (PJ). Students can also complete a minor in history as part of any program.
