Briefly, our programs include both thesis and course-work streams (the latter is in the works for September of next year). We have a standard sociology MA degree, as well as specializations in Gender and Women's Studies, Social Justice Studies, and Gerontology. Our programs emphasize professional development, and many of our students have published articles and book reviews, presented at scholarly conferences, and gone on to enjoy discipline-relevant careers and into PhD programs at top universities in Canada.

We look forward to discussing these options, and what a sociology MA degree might do for you, see you soon!

all the best,

Chris Southcott (graduate coordinator, Sociology)
Tony Puddephatt (chair, Sociology)
