What are the next steps for the remediation of Thunder Bay North Harbour? Representatives from the North Harbour Steering Committee (presenters from Environment and Climate Change Canada and Transport Canada) will discuss the steps forward for dealing with a large area of mercury- contaminated sediment in the Thunder Bay Harbour.

During Black History Month, Lakehead Orillia’s Black Liberation Collective (BLC) is presenting the diversity of foods among different countries in the West Indies and in Africa. There are hundreds of delicacies known nationwide but not many people in multicultural environments get to enjoy the authenticity of these unique delicacies. Taste of Africa (East & West) and Taste of the Caribbean educates our students on campus about the diverse foods from these countries. They will taste, learn how it prepared and learn the origin on these delicacies.
