Join us in the Makerspace@Paterson to learn the ins and outs of 3D printing on the Makerspace printers. This 30-minute session will include a general introduction to 3D printing, basic features and operation of the printers and safety guidelines. Attendance at a 3D Printing Orientation is required for anyone wanting to use the printers.

Lakehead University’s Department of Political Science and the Lakehead University Student Union (LUSU) are providing the opportunity for students to engage in dialogue around the federal election.

A panel, What Would Get You to Vote, planned for Oct. 8 will allow Lakehead Orillia students the opportunity to have in-depth discussion of the issues affecting them in the upcoming federal election, including what would get them to the polls.

Moderated by Lakehead Orillia professor Dr. Todd Stubbs, the panel will feature six political science students.

The notion of brain death was introduced in the 1960’s. After 50 years of clinical experience, new questions are being raised about the adequacy of the clinical tests used in its determination. This presentation reviews the issues and invites discussion concerning possible ways forward.
