Please join us and discover the world with GIS.

Speakers from the City of Thunder Bay and Sumac Geomatics, plus Lakehead University faculty and students, will discuss Geographic Information Systems and describe how the way we capture, manage and display spatial data is changing.

The discussion will be followed by an informal poster presentation with light refreshments.

Geocaching Treasure Hunt: Lakehead University's Geospatial Data Centre is inviting students to take part in a treasure hunt using a dedicated GPS or with a GPS app on your mobile device. Great prizes available for the participants who find all the sites fastest (Hint: practice with your GPS app before you start).
