Spring/Summer (April) 2024 Incoming International Students
Lakehead International is excited for you to join us, in person, at our Spring/Summer 2024 International Student Welcome Day, this April, as part of our Spring/Summer Orientation events!
Orientation provides new Lakehead students with an opportunity to meet new friends, engage with Lakehead staff and departments, learn about supports and services at Lakehead and within the community, ask questions, and gather all the necessary information they need to have a successful start to their term.

Spring/Summer 2024 - International Student Welcome Day
Learn about campus, discover the many supports and services available, and connect with the ISS team and other new students. All new students should plan to attend Welcome Day. Please register in advance.
(Mandatory event for all new international students)

Spring/Summer 2024 - Campus & Coffee
Complete everything you need to before your classes start
Start your morning in the International Centre for a morning cup of coffee, tea, and treats and meet with current students who will connect you with Lakehead supports and services, take you on a campus tour, show you where your classes are, and help you get important items like your student card, bus pass, and more!

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EDT
Location: International Student Lounge
Spring/Summer 2024 - City Tour
Join Lakehead International on a tour around Thunder Bay! See all the hotspots, places of note, recreation areas, and beautiful scenic lookouts with great spots for photo ops. Get local knowledge to make the best of your time here!
This tour will be on a bus with opportunities to get out and explore.
Limited spaces available. Register to secure your spot!
Date: Tuesday, April 30th
Time: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM EDT
Location: Meet at Agora Circle at least 15 minutes before 1:30 PM departure.
