The Bamijikewin (Vegetation Management) Coordinator is responsible for the development and oversight of Wataynikaneyap Power’s Bamijikewin (Vegetation Management) Plan and Program. The role serves as a vegetation management expert, integrating Indigenous participation and engagement, regulatory and legislative requirements, industry best practices, and program management to support effective planning and delivery of vegetation management activities aligned with the Plan. The Coordinator works collaboratively with internal and external partners to support decision-making and advance a sustainable and efficient vegetation management program, ensuring all assigned work is carried out accurately and efficiently while demonstrating a personal
commitment to the safety of co-workers, the public, oneself, and the environment.
