Ticket & Guest Information - Orillia Campus

Tickets:

Every graduate wants to share this special occasion with family and friends. Graduands may invite up to three (3) guests to their ceremony. Tickets will be waiting for your guests on convocation day one hour prior to the beginning of the ceremony.
 
Pick up options:
  • Pick up your tickets in advance on campus: Starting May 23rd, 2017 you may pick up your guest's tickets at Student Central - Front lobby of Simcoe Hall. Hours: Mon-Fri from 8:30am-4:30pm.
  • Pick up your tickets the day of: On the day of your ceremony tickets will be available for your guests starting one hour prior to the beginning of the ceremony. Location: Front Lobby to the Auditorium.
If you require extra tickets, please email convocation@lakeheadu.ca and include your full name, student number, which ceremony you will be attending and how many extra tickets you will need.  Extra tickets will be dependent upon available seating once all students have had an opportunity to respond. Information about extra tickets will be provided one week prior to your ceremony and will be emailed to your Lakehead University account.

Rotary Place doors will open for guest seating at (8:00AM).

Special Rate: Starting at $45 + Taxes for a Single Room with Double Bed
In terms of travel distance the most convenient place to stay would be in the Residence building at the Lakehead University Campus. This is about a 2 minute drive to the Rotary Place. For reservations, contact the Residence Front Desk at 705-330-4009 ext 3030 and let them know you are booking a room for convocation.
