Place-Based Education

An examination of place-responsive living and learning means exploring the relationship between education and the places where we, and others, live our lives. Sample themes include investigations into the relationship between culture and environment, difference and relationship, mobility and rootedness, place-making and place-destroying, contestation and consensus, stability and change, and sustainability and unsustainability.
