Parking on campus

Parking facilities are limited and the availability of space can't be guaranteed. Travelling to and from the University on foot, by public transportation and in carpools is encouraged.

Special parking arrangements for activities or large groups may be scheduled with Security Services.

How to purchase your parking permit

Parking permits can be purchased in annual, academic year or one semester terms. Permits are sold on a first-come first-served basis. For fall/winter 2023-2024, permits can be purchased online.  

Permits will be released on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 at 12 pm. Please check your email and The Bulletin for notices.

Parking permits are to be picked up from the Security Services office in Simcoe Hall. 

Payment options:

• Pay online by Visa or MasterCard.
• Pay in-person by Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash, cheque (payable to Lakehead University), or money order at the Security Office in Simcoe Hall.
