Join eCampusOntario for an exploration of some practical approaches for improving affordability through fully customizable educational resources. Participants will discover the Open Educational Resources (OER) creation and adaptation cycle and learn how OER can be enhanced, customized and repurposed to fully suit their specific teaching and learning needs.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

Plan and implement the creation of a new or adapted OER;
Begin exploring free publishing platforms, including Pressbooks and eCampusOntario's H5P Studio;
Evaluate and select open licenses for OER;
Distribute, share, and promote OER to support the post-secondary education community.

This session is held as part of Open Access Week, and will be presented by Brett Phillipson and Siri Gauthier.
