Enactus Lakehead is proud to open an on-campus escape room to allow you to test your teamwork and problem-solving skills!

Everyone is welcome to take part and take the role of students trying to steal exam answers from your "mad professor's" office!

We are charging $5 per person for the room and 50% goes to the LUSU Food Resource Centre. The escape room gives you 30 minutes of problem-solving fun!

Student Appreciation Valentine's Day Event

We are building a big Valentine's Day heart in the Agora with food donations for the LUSU Food Resource Centre. Faculty and staff are welcome to drop off food donations with red or white packaging to the Food and Conference Services booth in the Agora between 11 am and 2 pm on February 14.

We are also encouraging the donation of menstrual products in support of the Flowing for Change Campaign. The campaign aims to fight against period poverty, offering products to all of those who may need it and may not otherwise be able to access it.

As more publishers and funders, including the Tri-Council of Canada, introduce research data management requirements, it is a good time to get up to speed. In this workshop, we will cover the basics of data management plans (DMP) and open data deposit. This will include exposure to resources and tools to support you throughout your work, including DMP Assistant, DMP examples from various disciplines, Lakehead Dataverse, and the Federated Research Data Repository.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • describe what a data management plan (DMP) is, as well as a data repository
  • understand how to access DMP Assistant and see DMP examples from various disciplines, Lakehead Dataverse, and the Federated Research Data Repository
