We are excited to continue the celebrations for the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law’s 10th anniversary year with a special event as part of our ongoing Bora Laskin Distinguished Lecture Series on the evening of Thursday, November 23rd. The Bora Laskin Faculty of Law welcomes one of Canada’s most esteemed legal academics and legal historians,
Philip Girard; Professor Emeritus, Osgoode Hall

Speaking about Chief Justice Laskin and his immense contributions to Canadian law; subject of his 2005 biography Bora Laskin: Bringing Law to Life.

Immediately following the lecture will be a student recognition ceremony, acknowledging Course Prize, Dean’s List, and annual award recipients and donors. The evening will conclude with a wine and cheese reception on the second floor. The event is free to attend, advance registration is required.
