What is climate justice and what does it mean to be a good future ancestor?

The Lake Superior Living Labs Network will host a webinar exploring these questions called Climate Justice Across the Lake Superior Watershed on Wednesday, August 25 from 6 to 8 pm ET/5 to 7 pm CT.

This webinar will showcase stories and perspectives from folks engaged in climate justice across the Lake Superior watershed and beyond. Chúk Odenigbo (Future Ancestors) will kick off the conversation with a short keynote address, followed by Shadiya Aidid (Fossil Free Lakehead), Shelby Gagnon (Indigenous Food Circle) and Candace Day Neveau (Baawaating Water Protectors) who will share stories and perspectives about their work in climate justice. This virtual event is free, open to the public and will be recorded!
