Research Interests:
Marie has a history in archaeology and maintains an ongoing interest in human evolution, especially (though not exclusively) in the areas of religion and psychology. She has studied intensely the works of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung; her MA thesis is entitled "A Jungian Bridge to Native Philosophy", and she periodically offers a researched public lecture on some aspect of life as seen through a Jungian lens.
Having been active in Northwestern Ontario's women's movement, she calls herself an "inclusive feminist" (all genders welcome!) and she enjoys critical thinking that includes self-examination.
