Research Interests:

With over two decades of experience in the field, I specialize in the analysis of ancient and degraded DNA. My research encompasses a diverse array of samples, including DNA extracted from ancient Bison bones, wildlife parasites, and the degraded DNA found in the gut of malaria-carrying Anopheles mosquitoes, particularly from Israel and Mali. My work aims to unlock the secrets hidden within these genetic fragments, providing valuable insights into the evolutionary history, biodiversity, and disease dynamics of the past and present. Through cutting-edge techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration, I strive to advance our understanding of genetic resilience and adaptation across time.
