Students interested in the Language program at Lakehead University will
- Learn advanced level competency in French
- Learn Finnish, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin at an introductory level
- Become introduced to various cultures
- Acquire knowledge and develop communication skills and critical thinking in a creative learning environment.
As instruments of communication and discovery, languages open a window on the diversity of the human experience.
