Congratulations on completing your Global ME journey at Lakehead! Your Global ME journey may be coming to an end, but your experience abroad is something you can continue to build on. Find helpful resources and information to support your transition back to campus, complete your academic requirements, reflect on your experience, and stay connected with the Global ME community.
Re-Entry
Upon returning to Canada, students will complete a Global ME Debrief interview with the Global Mobility Programs Coordinator. During this debrief, we would like to hear your feedback about your host institution and your experience abroad. We will also invite you to participate in the Global ME Further Program. Please refer to our Returning Global ME Students webpage for more information.
Debrief
Outbound Global ME students will be invited to participate in a debrief interview with the Coordinator, Global Mobility Programs after returning from their international experience. During the debrief interview topics like housing, academics, culture shock, and more will be discussed. We truly value this feedback from our students as it allows us to expand our knowledge about our partner institutions and better equip students going to similar destinations in the future.
Global ME Further
Have you just returned from your time abroad and you're excited to share some of your fun and exciting stories with us? We want to hear it all!
Email globalme@lakeheadu.ca to share a short 2-4 sentences about your time abroad. If you want to write something longer, we'd love to receive that as well! You might even be lucky enough to be featured in Lakehead's Campus Connection where your story could be posted. Don't forget to include some of your favourite snapshots from your exchange! Academic Paperwork
After returning to Lakehead, make sure your academic documents and transcripts are submitted and your transfer credits are processed. Keep copies of your important academic documents for your records.
Note: Transcripts from your host institution may sometimes take time to arrive. If your transcript is delayed, inform Lakehead and the Global ME team so they are aware of the delay.
