Dr. Yellowhorn is an archaeologist who Chairs the First Nations Studies Department at Simon Fraser University. He grew up on the Pikani First Nation in Alberta, and has a long term interest in Northern Plains culture and history. His current research focuses on the development of Indigenous Archaeology- the integration of Traditional Knowledge and archaeology.
