"As an international student from Bangladesh, I was attracted to Lakehead because I was looking for a university where students and teachers have a one-to-one type of relationship. Lakehead is one of Ontario's smaller universities, and it offers a personal campus environment.
Faculty at Lakehead in the Engineering program were very helpful and available. The class sizes are small and the professors know the students names which contribute to a great learning environment.
Outside of class, I was a Student Ambassador in 2005 and was actively involved in four Student Union clubs. I also love fishing, playing cricket and taking advantage of the beautiful lakes and rivers in and around Thunder Bay. The natural environment here is truly breathtaking."
