"When choosing a university, Lakehead University was the only place I wanted to be. Not only is the university located in my hometown Thunder Bay, but that also meant saving money and remaining close to my family and friends. Plus, the faculty, staff and students at Lakehead are all friendly, and very helpful!
I also feel supported at Lakehead University. There are many different types of student services available (such as the Learning Assistance Centre) to aid you throughout your university career.Lakehead University offers many different activities that are put on each week as well as many different student hang out areas to take advantage of. Also, finding a quiet place to concentrate and study is very easy as it is a smaller university.

I think that my favourite place to hang out on-campus would be Lake Tamblyn. I love the outdoors and Thunder Bay's beautiful surroundings so having a lake and serene setting on campus can't be beat."
