"I chose to study at Lakehead University because it's in my home town of Thunder Bay and I really liked the idea of the 3yr Compressed Nursing Program. Lakehead is the right university for me because I am able to get a post-secondary education and, at the same time, stay close to home with my family and friends. The 3yr Nursing program here at Lakehead is amazing and I have gotten to know a lot of people in my program because of the small class sizes. My classmates and Ihave becomea very close group of friends.The Nursing program has also exposed me to some of the best experiences I could have asked for through the clinical portion where we go out each weekand get hands on experience!"
