"I chose to come to Lakehead because my sister and brothers have all graduated from here and had nothing but good things to say. Lakehead has a great learning atmosphere and I knew that it would provide me with all that I need in a university and much more.The class sizes here are small, the professors are friendly and very knowledgeable and the students are welcoming. Lakehead has anything you'll ever want and need on campus and there are many opportunities provided to students. I am in the biology program at Lakehead and it's an incredible field to be involved in. The classes are very interesting, the professors are amazing and very approachable. There are also many job opportunities for students to work in both labs and in the field.

My favourite place to hang out is in the Study coffeehouse and when I need to get some studying done I go to the library.

Outside of school I enjoy playing soccer andtennis, drawing and travelling. I also try to get involved in both the community and at school by volunteering through programs such as the student ambassador program."
