"I chose to come to Lakehead University because the Sociology program here is one of the best programs in Ontario. How can anyone say no to a place that has such beautiful surroundings? Lakehead is the right university for students who are looking for a school with fantastic programs and people. The Sociology program here allows students to expand their mind and discover some great things that you may not get to do otherwise. There are amazing profs who are always willing to help; the one-on-one attention is something that is unique to the university.

 

I like to hang out and get some studying done in the Outpost. It's a huge space that allows everyone the chance to hang out, relax and grab a bite to eat.

 

Outside of class I love to go for walks around town especiallynear the marina and the waterfront. When the weather doesn't cooperate, I like to hang out in residence and spend time on the RezLife team."
