Lakehead University prides itself in having safe campuses in which you can live and learn. The safety of our students is of great importance to us. Lakehead University's campuses feature services to help our students, faculty, staff and visitors enjoy a safe learning community.

In order to ensure the ongoing safety of our students, Security Services operates 24 hours per day, seven days a week patrolling the campus and responding to security calls.

Security Services provides a campus-wide walking service for anyone requesting it. Security Officers will walk with students anywhere on-campus: to a vehicle, residence or evening classroom/library visits.
